Medical Equipment Grant Program: This program provides financial assistance for purchasing medical equipment that is not covered by insurance but is essential for improving the quality of life for individuals with rare diseases. Examples include specialized wheelchairs, adaptive strollers, pulse oximeter and other equipment that enhance independence and life-sustaining monitoring.
The Medical Travel Reimbursement Grant is designed to support individuals and families affected by rare diseases who need to travel for specialized medical care. Recognizing the financial burden associated with long-distance travel for treatments, consultations, and surgeries, our grant provides up to $1,500 of assistance to cover transportation, accommodation, and related expenses.
